Snow Reporter Comments: Here comes the sun! The recent storm has wrapped, leaving us with almost 3 feet of new snow since Saturday, including 8 inches in the last 24 hours. Today we’re expecting a mix of clouds and sunshine with temperatures in the high 20s. Conditions on the mountain are excellent right now. Our groomed trails have been softened from the recent snowfall, and there are still fresh turns waiting through our terrain gates. Stray fluff is everywhere. Looking for a fun trail to ski or ride? With our base now back over 100 inches, it’s hard to go wrong right now. Delays on Summit and Honeycomb, as well as some terrain closures, are possible today as mitigation work takes place. Rapidly warming temperatures and direct sunlight can also affect the status of some terrain. Enjoy the sun while it lasts — another storm arrives tomorrow, bringing a possible 3-5 inches of new snow during daylight hours, and a similar amount tomorrow night.
