Boston Mills/Brandywine has been a Cleveland area staple for many decades. It is a great place to learn and hone your skills, and can prepare you for more challenging terrain in the Northeast - sort of a stepping stone for the bigger places.
Great place to learn, easy access, and family friendly.
Not particularly challenging for more advanced skiers and boarders.

The lifts are antiques, the lodge is an antique, it's got no vertical drop, the snowmaking doesn't seem very good, and the people there are not particularly friendly. The place basically conveys a grim determination to ski. I give it my least favorite Lodge out of about 20 award.

Terrible terrible terrible! Went to tubing hills ...session was 7-9 snack bar was closed before our session ended...so many people we only got to go down 3 times.... bar was closed and I was able to purchase tickets even AFTER IT SAID SOLD OUT!!! so they do not follow any covid rules and do not make people follow mask rules like stated on website! 75$ for 3 ppl and could only go down 3 times and not all the hills were even open! Shame shame they are ripping people off!! Don't waste your time nor money!

Before writing a review on a ski resort, one must consider the geographic location of said resort. Ohio is not necessarily riddled with mountains. Taking that into account, Boston Mills-Brandywine is a spectacular resort. Vail resorts has purchased it for the 2021 season and is doing an outstanding job operating the ski areas. Yes, seasoned skiers and boarders won't be particularly challenged by the terrain, but consider that you are in the Greater Cleveland, OH area, skiing. This is a spectacular resort and great place to go to get out on the snow without traveling for the better portion of your day. Get out there and shred!

It is nice... for ohio. Starting off with the food, it is very good and has many options but on the downside it is very pricy. The slopes are very good for beginners as well as experienced but experts would not be satisfied. It is very fun to go when it gets darker and has a wide variety of slopes.

I learned how to snowboard here and I thought that I could never conquer any of the Black Diamonds there. Now, having been down every slope at BMBWAV and also most slopes in other places, like Jackson Hole and Vail, it still gives me that childhood feeling. If only I could have seen where I am today. Parents: PLEASE take your kids to Boston Mills to learn! You won’t regret it. Overall, pretty decently conditioned slopes compared with some gnarly terrain make for a great experience.
Great slopes for beginners, fun place to learn, terrain parks are really good
Not many slopes for experts, small terrain parks
