Helly Hansen Sogn Jacket review. OnTheSnow reviewed this insulated jacket as part of its 2016/2017 Jacket Buyers' Guide.

Favorite Features: Helly’s Sogn Jacket marries insulation and airflow into one performance driven package. We loved the innovative “H2Flow” system that stretches the entire length of the back, and the PrimaLoft insulation found throughout the chest and arms is mighty cozy. Other standout features, including an extra high collar, hi-vis hood and snap-away powder skirt, had us saying, “Helly-yeah!”

Room for Improvement: The wrist gaiters are a great feature, but we found them to be uncomfortably snug. While the internal media pocket is a nice touch, we’d like to see the complementary cable routing as well.

Fit: The Sogn fits true to size and offers good mobility. The high collar and adjustable hood work well to keep the elements out.
