Overall great resort.
Super Friendly, Very easy slopes in general, 2 demanding Black's.
Current lack of snow cover, that's all Europe though.

If you're looking for family friendly skiing Les Saisies is an excellent choice. Really this place ticks a lot of boxes. The main village has maintained a character and charm over the decades of expansion. A little light on the technical end, the resort has a generous spread of red and blue runs that will keep most mixed ability groups happy. At 75km the offering may appear sparse compared to some resorts however with the espacé diamant pass you have access to 192km of pistes and some more magnificent views. Skiing between resorts is pleasant enough and hassle free as they interconnect well. Pistes are rarely overcrowded, which is a bonus for the nervous and the novice skiers as they have space and equally useful for a good uninterrupted bomb down the slopes. The green runs and ski schools are largely situated around the resort centre, which works well when you want to off load the youngsters. Skiing is never cheap but it’s relative obscurity in the international ski travel market helps keep the prices competitive. Skiing Les Saisies and the Espacé Diamant has feeling of peace and intimacy of absence from most resorts. Many of the pistes feel so disconnected from their surroundings that you really can get that feeling of just you and the mountain that normally have to hike into the powder to achieve. To me Les Saisies is the ski resort equivalent of finding to finding the restaurant that all the locals eat at in a tourist town.
Beautiful views and tree lined pistes. World class XC
Not a party resort, little to offer off-piste.

I've been skiing in Les Saisies since I was 6 - that's 45 years. I've seen it grow from a resort with 2 hotels, Picards ski rental shop and a handful of shops. Although still considered a small resort, it has grown tremendously. What used to be 'out in the sticks' is now in the center. But it still has its friendly family feel. I turn up most January's and still see the wonderful Monique and her daughter Kiki hand peeling the potatoes for the 'plat du jour' at La Fringale - amazing, real home made food ready for you to take home after a hard day's skiing. The nightlife and afterski is more than adequate but we're usually too tired for late nights. Les Saisies is perfect for families or those who enjoy good blue runs and a dozen or so reds and blacks. And also, summer times are not go be missed. Horse treks into the mountains are an amazing way to experience the truly beautiful scenery.
Very friendly, great for intermidiates, stunning scenery
Not a lot of reds and black runs

Great place for groups and families. A lot of different slopes. Ski lifts a bit old but the stuff was very friendly and extremely helpful.
Nice ski resort with great panorama, helpful stuff and please try slopes.
For some reason a lot of people is skiing without helmets - more than in other resorts - it's very dengerous. Resort should ban it.

Les Saisies is an amazing family ski resort and village. Espace Diamant downhill skiing area with its 192km of various slopes is huge enough. You can either improve yourself in cross country skiing (120km) or biathlon. There a lot of other activities right there: walking & snowshoeing, dog sledging, snow groomer drive, skidoo outings, swimming pool, wellness, sledge, paragliding... With the panoramic views around on Aravis, Mont-Blanc & Beaufortain, for sure, you will fall in love with this cute French secret spot.

thoroughly enjoyed this resort.lots of blues to keep me busy. could have done with more reds and blacks to push me and my confidence. This wasn't all because of the lack of runs but the lack of snowfall meant a handful of the steeper runs were shut. would definitely go again and would recommend to anyone who is a beginner/intermediate. incredible location and incredible views
great for beginners and families.lots of nice green runs and testy blue runs to keep the days varied and fun
not a lot to test experts and intermediates looking for a challenge

Went there for a week to altitude train for Nordic skiing and Biathlon and the tracks really are amazing, some great climbs, descents and views. Very large choice of tracks and distances also. The Alpine skiing side was not quite as good, very limited choices although having said that the runs are quite good. The town itself is quaint and not too expensive, so family and budget friendly. The lift cues were not particularly long, taking no more than a couple minutes to filter through. Overall for Nordic- Intermediate Alpine- Beginner
Nordic tracks are fantastic and well kept
Alpine is limited
