Val d'Isere hosts the International Adventure and Discovery Festival April 19-22.
The festival will see 11 films compete for a prize. Each film lasts between 14 to 85 minutes and deals with one of the aspects of sporting, human or discovery adventure.
Sylvain Tesson, adventurer and geographer, leads the debates after each film. Three prizes are awarded by a jury made up of key adventure names and one prize is awarded by the public.
Filmmakers still have time to enrol for pre-selections. Your documentary should be around a theme such as alpinism, ski, parasailing or other aerial sports, water sports, diving, cycling, the animal world or other extreme activities. Remember to adhere to the time restrictions when editing your film. Further details of enrolment and registration can be found on the Web site.
