2016/2017 Line Pandora 110 ski review. OnTheSnow tested this ski as part of its women’s Powder Category.
Pandora herself may enjoy skiing on the fattest of Line’s freeride series for women, particularly since the Pandora 110 tied for the highest float score in the Powder Category. Testers were less fond of the 110-mm-waisted ski’s versatility, though many felt it carved well for how wide it is. “Ten plus inches is this ski’s happy place,” says Riley. “It has enough power to cut through the chop and the non-traditional tail adds a fun, smeary dimension to the turn.” Construction includes Line’s Maple Lite core—a mix of hard maple wood underfoot and aspen placed in the softer, rockered tips. Line’s Fivecut geometry results in five radii shapes blended into the sidecut for turn shape versatility. “There’s tons of pop at exactly the right time in the turn” says Harkins. “It’s an easy ripper with plenty of surface area to float.”
